In December 2023, 11-month-old Jacob began showing flu-like symptoms that quickly escalated. What seemed like colitis turned out to be Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare cancer. He started chemotherapy right away. When the tumor grew to 15 cm and pressed on his lungs, Jacob underwent emergency surgery on his first birthday, followed by tumor removal and a month in the PICU. He bravely completed 23 radiation sessions and finished his last round of chemo on November 1st. Despite it all, Jacob’s joyful spirit shines through. He loves Cars, carries his Lightning McQueen toy everywhere, and delights in books and food. With the support of his mom and grandmother, and help from the Parker Project for transportation and groceries, Jacob’s family never faced this fight alone.

Ludovic has spent more than half his life fighting neuroblastoma. After a recent relapse, tumors were found on his head and throughout his body. Now in the care of Children’s Hospital, he’s starting MIBG therapy—a promising treatment that requires isolation due to its radioactive nature. For now, his family can only see him through a window. Once safe, he’ll move to a regular room and hopefully get a three-month break from treatment. Despite everything, Ludovic remains a bright, energetic big brother, full of curiosity and courage. With his loving family by his side, he keeps fighting. Thanks to generous donors, Parker Project helped with transportation and groceries—so his family can focus on his recovery.

Parker Project was honored to support them with housing assistance during this difficult time.

Jazlyn was enjoying a happy, carefree childhood until May 2023, when she began experiencing severe leg pain. At first thought to be growing pains, the pain quickly worsened, prompting a visit to the ER. She was soon transferred to the Children’s Hospital, where tests revealed advanced neuroblastoma. She started intensive treatment immediately and, thankfully, has responded well. Now in the final stages of her treatment, Jazlyn continues to be closely monitored as she moves forward with incredible strength and courage. A joyful and friendly girl, Jazlyn loves painting, going to school, and playing with her friends. She’s always smiling, enjoys yogurt and fruit, and lights up every room she enters. With the love and support of her family she faces each day with hope and determination. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, Parker Project was able to assist Jazlyn’s family with housing costs, helping ease the burden during this difficult journey.
